Mike Napoli is one of the biggest names on the free agent market, but teams aren't viewing him as a full-time catcher.
"I'd take a flier on the bat, but he's not an everyday catcher, period," writes Keith Law.
"It's not clear he can hold up physically, or that he can play the position regularly without affecting his offense, or that you would actually want his glove back there 120-plus times a year. But as a part-time catcher, more-time DH, he's a good option for a team with a better regular catcher and a need for extra offense."
Napoli hit .227/.343/.469 with 24 home runs and 56 RBI last season.
The Red Sox are one of the teams that have been linked to him.
