Zack Greinke will be coveted on the free-agent market this winter as perhaps the best pitcher available.

An American League executive sees Greinke signing a six-year, $125 million contract.

Milwaukee tried to entice Greinke to stay with a five-year, $100 million deal. A person close to the pitcher said that a few months ago Greinke believed that the Angels, Braves and Cardinals were the best fits.

The Dodgers and Nationals are also outside threats to sign Greinke.
