Scott Boras doesn't agree with teams that make payroll decisions based on Major League Baseball's luxury tax.

The super agent, as could be expected, approves of the way the Dodgers have done business over the last six weeks.

"The revenues of baseball should be the basis of commitment to players' contracts, not the artificial luxury tax," Boras said. "When clubs are making $300, $400 million more than every other team, that should drive their payroll decisions.

"The LA Dodgers are a modern example of that because it's good business to do what they’'e doing. And it's good for baseball."
