The Mets could recall Lucas Duda before rosters expand on Sept. 1, according to a club source.
The outfielder upset some within the organization when he sulked after his demotion to the minor leagues in July.
In his last six games at the Triple-A level, Duda is hitting .381 with two home runs and five RBI.
The Mets would like to get Duda's bat going and give him another shot in right field before this season concludes.
Duda May Return To Mets This Month
