With two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, Minnesota's Ben Revere lifted a foul to third base territory at Target Field.
Philadelphia's Mike Fontenot gave chase and it looked like he was going to make the play for the third out, but then a boy in a Phillies cap and shirt reached up and grabbed the ball.
Given new life, Revere hit a RBI single to make the score 11-7. That would prove to be the final margin of the contest.
"I owe that little kid dinner," Revere said with a chuckle. "He helped me out a little bit there."
