Pablo Sandoval singled to left field leading off the fourth inning against the Reds on Thursday, extending his season-opening hitting streak to 19 games. The Giants third baseman has surpassed Johnny Rucker's mark of 18 games set at the start of the 1945 season. He increased his batting average to .333 with the hit. "Pablo has played with a lot of energy and not showing any signs [of being tired]," Bruce Bochy said. "Pablo has looked great."
