Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder and Joey Votto all received $200 million contracts to play first base this winter.
Many have wondered what the deals will mean for future first baseman on the free-agent market, but Pujols isn't worried about what hasn't happened yet.
"I don't know what's going to happen in the future," he said.
"All I can tell you right now is where we're at and the contract that I signed. Take it one day at a time, and then take it 10 years from now and look at how good a contract it was."
