Agent John Boggs had several conversations with Phillies management in recent days, but there has been no breakthrough in talks on a new contract for the left-hander. "At this point," Boggs said, "we're not going to discuss the negotiations. But I'm trying to remain positive. And that's all I'd like to say." Hamels is just one year away from free agency.
