The Phillies and right-hander Kyle Kendrick have reached an agreement on a one-year deal that allows the two sides to avoid arbitration. The one-year deal is worth $3,585,000. Kendrick was 8-6 with a 3.22 ERA in 15 starts and 19 relief appearances last year, when he made $2.45 million.
