While many believe the Rangers are getting involved in the race to sign free-agent first baseman Prince Fielder, president Nolan Ryan just doesn't see it happening. Ryan said that he doesn't see how Fielder fits financially in the club's plans and sources said the team is not pursuing Fielder currently. Fielder, 27, is one of the top bats on the free-agent market. He hit .299 with 38 homers and 120 RBIs and played in all 162 games in 2011 for Milwaukee.
