The Angels are said to be increasing their pursuit of free-agent left-hander C.J. Wilson. The team was believed to be meeting with the hurler's agent at the winter meetings on Monday night. USA Today's Bob Nightengale tweeted that the Angels "have emerged as favorites for C.J. Wilson" and Jon Morosi of FOX Sports said via Twitter that the team was making a "serious push" to sign him. The Nationals, Marlins, Red Sox and Wilson's recent club, the Rangers, have also been said to have strong interest.
