Brian Cashman says he intends to get in touch with the representatives of several veteran players who helped the team make the playoffs this past season. Those players include infielder Eric Chavez, outfielder Andruw Jones and pitcher Bartolo Colon. Cashman has already been in communication with representatives for right-hander Freddy Garcia. It is believed that there is mutual interest in bringing Garcia back next season.
