Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig has admitted that it is possible he'll mediate talks between the Cubs and Red Sox regarding compensation for general manager Theo Epstein. Epstein, who has reportedly agreed in principle to a contract with Chicago, still has one year remaining on his deal with Boston. The two teams have discussed compensation for Epstein, but nothing is finalized or believed to be imminent. "It's a possibility," Selig said on Sirius XM when asked if he might intervene. "No question, it is a possibility."
