Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia has four years left on his contract and assuming he opts out he'll likely look to tack two or three more years on the deal. He doesn't have any reason to believe he can't be an ace for another six or seven years. "There's no reason to think I can't," Sabathia said. Sabathia is expected to decide to opt out of his seven-year $161 million contract, unless he and the Yankees agree to an extension beforehand. New York general manager Brian Cashman said Friday he was unsure when discussions with Sabathia would commence. "I'm going to take the weekend to regroup. We'll talk about it next week," he said. "I'll talk to Hal [Steinbrenner]. I couldn't really tell you [a date]."
