The Rockies struggled with their starting rotation this season and it figures to be a point of emphasis this winter. "I look at it as pitching is the name of the game," catcher Chris Iannetta said. "They'll do whatever they can to bolster our pitching staff." Colorado began the season with Ubaldo Jimenez and Jorge De La Rosa at the top of their rotation, but ended it with neither due to trade and injury. "In this division, you win or lose with starting pitching," general manager Dan O'Dowd said. "When it's all said and done, you've got to score runs -- especially because of Coors Field -- but when you go through San Diego, L.A. and San Francisco, you've got to pitch (well)."
