Jorge Posada delivered in the clutch for the Yankees as a pinch hitter on Wednesday night. Posada, 40, hit a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to give New York a 4-2 victory, which allowed them to lock up the 2011 American League East Title. He was so emotional, having delivered the clinching hit as a part-time player in the final year of his contract, Posada thought it was the bottom of the ninth inning. "I thought it was the bottom of the ninth, to tell the truth," Posada said. "Then I saw Tex (Mark Teixeira) scoring from second base, and I was like, 'What's going on?'"
