The Cubs are sticking with Carlos Marmol as their closer. Sean Marshall closed Chicago's victory on Sunday afternoon, but Marmol will keep the job over the remainder of the season. "The last thing I thought about was next year," manager Mike Quade said when asked if Marmol would be the team's closer in 2012. "We just want to get people through this year in as good a shape as we can." Marmol has blown a league-high nine save opportunities, and has the second-worst saves percentage (.775). "These things have crept up on him more this year than the past, so he's going to have to try to figure things out and make better pitches," Quade said.
