Phillies left-hander Cliff Lee beat the Reds on Wednesday night, tossing 8 2/3 scoreless innings. Lee finished August 5-0 with a 0.45 ERA after going 5-0 with a 0.21 ERA in the month of June. According to The Elias Sports Bureau, he's just the third pitcher in major league history to have two months in a single season with at least five wins, no losses and an ERA under 1.00. Bob Gibson did it in 1968, while Walter Johnson accomplished the feat in 1913.
