The Pirates have placed newcomer Derrek Lee on the disabled list with a broken bone in his left wrist. He suffered the injury on Aug. 3rd when he was hit on the wrist by Chicago's Carlos Marmol. Lee, who was acquired from Baltimore on July 30, missed four games, but returned Monday and played two games in San Francisco. He was batting .278 with two home runs and three RBIs in five games since the trade.
