There is a chance that Albert Pujols could return to the Cardinals as early as Tuesday. A return that early would beat his initial timetable by a month. He is recovering from a fractured left wrist. After taking indoor batting practice and fielding grounders outside on Monday, Pujols said there was no pain and added that he felt great. "I can't wait to get back on the field," Pujols said. "Hopefully, it can be tomorrow. If it's not, whenever the time comes will be the right time to play." Tuesday is the first day Pujols is eligible to return from the 15-day disabled list.
