The Rangers had left-hander Scott Kazmir in for a workout earlier this week. Kazmir was released by the Angels last month after struggling in the minor leagues. He was healthy for the workout, but no decision has been made on if the Rangers will sign Kazmir. "We've talked with him, doing our due diligence," Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said. "Not sure if anything is going to come of it, but we try to look at every opportunity to see if someone can help us."
