Angels right-hander Jered Weaver was scratched from his scheduled start Sunday against Tampa Bay.
Los Angeles manager Mike Scioscia is hopeful Weaver will be able to start Monday night's game at Boston despite a stomach virus.
"If this was the seventh game of the World Series, I think you'd see him out there trying to pitch," Scioscia said. "He had some IV's put in, and I think more one day of getting fluids in him and he should be good to go."
Weaver is 6-0 with an 0.99 ERA in six starts this season.
