The Brewers extended left fielder Ryan Braun's contract five additional years through the 2020 season, according to an ESPN.com report on Thursday.
The deal is the longest commitment to a player in Brewers franchise history and is in addition to the $45M, eight-year deal Braun signed in May 2008, still the largest deal ever signed by a player with less than one year of service time.
Braun's new contract is worth $105M from 2016-20, with a $10M signing bonus.
