The Red Sox fell to 2-10 following a 7-6 loss to the Blue Jays on Friday night.
After jumping out to a 3-0 lead, Boston fell behind 7-3 before rallying a bit in the later innings.
"It's not going to mean anything tomorrow because we lost," manager Terry Francona said, "but, always, we've got to give ourselves a chance. We're looking for positives."
The Red Sox are off to their worst start since 1996, when they began the season with just two wins in their first 14 games.
