White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper isn't against using six starters at times this season.
"Let's just say there's a lot of games in a row," Cooper said. "I like thinking out of the box. It's a long season, you want (pitchers) sprinting across the finish line. Long term (with six starters), no. Short term, one here and one there, certainly something that's popped in my mind."
Phil Humber tossed six strong innings for Chicago on Saturday, but he'll remain in the team's rotation when Jake Peavy returns from injury.
