The Rangers have claimed reliever Ramon Aguero off waivers from the Pirates. Aguero, 26, has never pitched above Double A, but the Rangers will assign him to Triple-A Round Rock. To make room for Aguero on the 40-man roster, the Rangers transferred righty Omar Beltre to the 60-day DL.
