Mike Stanton made an impression in his spring debut with the Marlins on Thursday. Stanton hit two three-run home runs and finished with seven RBIs as Florida beat Boston 15-7. "He's a big kid, a real strong kid," Red Sox starter Clay Buchholz said. "He hits it a long way." Stanton, who strained his right quadriceps in a game against the University of Miami on Feb. 27, has played in minor league games for about the last 10 days. He made his debut last June 8 and hit 22 home runs in 100 games. The outfielder is expected to bat cleanup this season.
