The sale of Padres chief executive Jeff Moorad's general partnership in the Diamondbacks has been completed, according to commissioner Bud Selig.
Moorad's approximate 8 percent of the franchise was sold for $21 million, according to a source.
The share was absorbed by the current Arizona partnership headed by Ken Kendrick, the managing general partner.
"That's been completed," Selig said. "Fortunately, that's another issue I don't have to worry about."
