The Phillies are working on a new contract for manager Charlie Manuel. A new pact may not be imminent, but the two sides are working towards an agreement. Manuel's agent, Pat Rooney, met with Ruben Amaro Jr. Tuesday afternoon to discuss details of the extension. The manager is believed to be seeking a two-year worth at least $4 million annually.
