Ozzie Guillen will likely enter the upcoming season without a contract past 2011. The White Sox have spent a ton of money on free agents this offseason, but barring a late change of heart by chairman Jerry Reinsdorf and general manager Ken Williams, Guillen will enter the season with no contractual obligation beyond its end for the first time in his eight-season run. His current contract has a vested option for 2012 that only triggers if the White Sox win the American League Central.
