The Rangers want to reward manager Ron Washington for guiding the team to their first World Series appearance with a new contract. "First things first, we'll address our own free agents as most clubs will, first priority being Wash," general manager Jon Daniels said. "I don't think that'll be an issue whatsoever. I would imagine once it's all said and done, we will sit down and resolve that pretty quickly. There's no doubt in anybody's mind that he'll be the skipper here for some time to come."
