The Mariners were forced to stay in Boston longer than expected on Wednesday. The inclement weather that forced Tuesday night's game against the Red Sox to be postponed stuck around. The two teams are scheduled to play a day-night doubleheader at Fenway Park. The team was originally scheduled to fly out of Boston on Wednesday afternoon, but those plans had to be changed to accommodate the doubleheader. The longer stay was also a problem because of the lack of vacancies at hotels. "The city of Boston is sold out," Mariners director of travel Ron Spellecy said. "There aren't any hotel rooms available in the downtown area and we need about 60 rooms."
