Dodgers manager Joe Torre isn't concerned by the passionate play of outfielder Andre Ethier. Ethier has occasionally engaged in emotional outbursts after making outs. Torre compares Ethier to Paul O'Neill. "I told Paul O'Neill a long time ago that he can come to my house anytime wants," Torre said. "He did some things where his wife said, 'How can you do that in front of the kids?' But sometimes, it just means so much to you, and different people express themselves in different ways. The only thing I said to Paul, and I have said it to Andre too, is that if you hurt yourself, that's a problem because then the rest of the team has to suffer." Ethier was caught on camera during the Angels' telecast of Saturday's game beating up the bat rack with his bat after a well-hit ball in the fifth inning was run down by Angels right fielder Bobby Abreu.
