Javier Vazquez struggled yet again on Saturday and Yankees manager Joe Girardi was noncommittal when asked if the right-hander would make his next scheduled start. When asked about Vazquez, Girardi deflected questions and moved onto outfielder Curtis Granderson's injury. "That's not a concern of mine right now," he said. "My thought process is how we get through tomorrow first. "There's no doubt about it that he's scuffling and we have to find a way to get him back on track," the manager added. Vazquez's next start would be likely be this coming weekend against the Red Sox. "I feel good. I'm just not getting it done on the mound, which is when it counts," he said. "I know I am trying hard. I want to do good. ... I might be trying too hard but it's because I want to do good." Vazquez is 1-3 with a 9.78 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 23 innings this season. New York has lost four of his five starts.
