The Brewers have taken their latest offer to outfielder Corey Hart off the table and the two sides are headed for arbitration, according to a report.
"We made a final offer that we thought was a good offer," team negotiator Teddy Werner told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
"It's significantly higher than the number we filed. They didn't like it. I said, 'See you in Tampa in a couple of weeks.' "
The Brewers filed for $4.15 million in arbitration, with Hart requesting $4.8 million.
