The Jays have some interest in free agents Johnny Damon and Carlos Delgado. Toronto general manager Alex Anthopoulos said that the team has had internal discussions about Damon, while manager Cito Gaston is lobbying for Delgado's return to the club. Damon's price would likely have to come down a little more in order for the Jays to have serious interest. The Mets are no longer a likely destination for Delgado after having agreed to a one-year deal with Fernando Tatis on Thursday.
