The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that the Athletics and designated hitter Jack Cust have agreed to terms on a one-year, $2.65 million deal. Incentives could push the reported deal's worth up to $3 million. An Oakland team source confirmed the deal to the Chronicle. Cust hit .240 with 25 home runs and 70 RBIs in 2009.
