The Marlins have apparently increased their offer to Cuban free-agent Aroldis Chapman. An American League source told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that the Marlins are "still in the game" and have increased their initial $13 million offer in hopes of landing Chapman. Chapman told one associate he expects to sign within the next three or four days.
