The Rangers are looking to beef up their offense and they are reportedly interested in a number of sluggers as designated hitters. Texas is very interested in Jermaine Dye. They are also looking at Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome, Gary Sheffield and Xavier Nady, who is considered a dark horse. One Rangers official called Nady, "Very interesting."
