The Red Sox are still showing interest in free-agent third baseman Adrian Beltre. However, they aren't alone. "Sox still very much in mix for Beltre, but Athletics and possibly Orioles and Angels also in the bidding, too," Gordon Edes of ESPNBoston.com write on his Twitter page. Boston is still interested in dealing Mike Lowell, who had thumb surgery last week, and Beltre hit .265 with eight home runs and 44 RBIs in Seattle last season.
