The minor-league deal reliever Juan Rincon signed with the Rockies last month is full of incentives.
The contracts calls for a $800,000 salary if in the big leagues. He would earn $20,000 a month in the minors.
Rincon can earn $175,000 in incentives for big league appearances, starting with $25,000 at 40 games and capping out at 70 games.
