Major League Baseball is investigating Tigers reliever Fernando Rodney's actions on Friday night. After nailing down a hard-earned save, Rodney threw the ball over the home-plate screen with authority. The ball crashed into the second-deck press box, but didn't hit anyone. "I threw the ball to the fans -- it was nothing," Rodney told the Detroit Free-Press. "I know I'm not supposed to throw the ball, but I'm feeling the moment. I threw it to the right spot and didn't hit anybody. "I was mad. Bad day. I didn't try to hit anybody."
