Johnny Damon fouled a ball off of his knee on Friday night and missed Saturday's game against the Red Sox. The Yankees are hoping that Damon will be able to play in the series finale on Sunday, but the outfielder won't rush back. "I'm very sore with movement and everything," Damon told MLB.com, adding that he had trouble sleeping. He is considered day-to-day and didn't even attempt to run on the knee Saturday. "I think right now we'd worry if it would swell some if I did move around," Damon said. "Obviously when that happens, I would be useless if it does swell up again. That's what we're trying to avoid right now."
