The Mets lost their fifth straight game on Tuesday night, and held a closed-door meeting that lasted about 30 minutes afterward.
"We just had a little family talk -- a little private family discussion," manager Jerry Manuel, who was the only speaker, said. "Just to get things in order, a lot of things."
The Mets have won just three of their last ten games and are three games behind the Phillies for first place in the NL East.
