The Mets defeated the Red Sox 3-2 on Saturday night, with Omir Santos hitting a reviewed home run in the top of the ninth inning. Santos' ball hit off the top of the Green Monster in left field, and he felt as though he waited forever for the umpires to review the call. "I felt like I was waiting for an hour," Santos said of the delay that lasted just a few minutes. J.J. Putz, filling in for closer Francisco Rodriguez, then closed out the victory for the Mets in the bottom of the inning.
