Chien Ming-Wang pitched six scoreless innings for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees on Tuesday night. Wang allowed three hits in the appearance, and left a scoreless game. He struck out six batters, while walking three. He threw 49 of his 82 pitches for strikes, and faced 23 batters. The start was Wang's first in the minors this year. The Yankees are looking to solve his pitching issues, and restore strength after his hip was weakened by last season's foot injury.
