Red Sox shortstop Julio Lugo will request a trade if he doesn't land the team's starting job at the position this season. "It's a business and you want to be where people want you," said Lugo. "We're going to see at the end of spring training. We're going to have to wait and see what happens." Infielder Jed Lowrie could the win the job that he took over at the end of last season. "Nobody is going to be happy sitting on the bench," he said.
