The Blue Jays have sent struggling pitcher Shaun Marcum down to Triple-A Syracuse in an attempt to help him fix his problems, according to The Toronto Star. Marcum has struggled since returning from the disabled list. "He's had seven outings since coming off the DL and he hasn't really located the ball well," said general manager J.P. Ricciardi. "He really hasn't been himself." Marcum had been 5-4 with six no-decisions through his first 15 starts, sporting an ERA of 2.65. "We've got some chance here to catch these guys (Red Sox), so we want to put the best possible group out there we can right now," Ricciardi added.
