Marlins' pitcher Chris Volstad earned a victory in his first Major League appearance on Sunday against the Rockies, according to The Miami Herald. He pitched two scoreless innings in relief to earn the victory in Florida's 10-5 win over Colorado. "I found out [Saturday] night at 11," Volstad said of his call-up. "I flew out at six from Raleigh [N.C.] in the morning and got here with enough time to play catch before the game. [The first major-league win] is just starting to sink in right now. Before the game I really didn't have any time to think or get nervous."
