Tigers' Manager Jim Leyland will not explain why he switched the team's defensive alignment, swapping Carlos Guillen and third baseman Miguel Cabrera, according to the Detroit Free Press. While he would not explain the move, Leyland did admit that he doesn't expect Guillen to play third base as well Brandon Inge did a few seasons ago. "Today, we worked with Miguel on the double play," infield Coach Rafael Belliard said. "With Carlos, we worked on the double play, slow grounders, and bunt plays. They both love to work, and I love to work."
